Chomps & National Take A Hike Day

My husband has always been a fan of meat snacks. Until now, I could take it or leave it … mostly leave it because I didn’t like the spongy texture. Then along comes Chomps, a totally addictive meat snack that I love! There is variety, flavor, low calories, no sugar, no preservatives and delicious, energy enhancing taste! If you were like me and had a problem with the texture, you will change your tune with these that are easily portable. The snacks are non-GMO, gluten-free and certified Paleo and Keto. Add to that list of beauty that they are made from grass-fed finished beef and venison and free-range turkey with no hormones or antibiotics. What could be better?

My personal favorite is the turkey. My husband couldn’t pick a favorite because he loves them all. In honor of National Take A Hike Day on November 17th, Chomps has partnered with Visit Sevierville. No matter where you live, it’s time to get outside and embrace fall. Chomps snacks can help you do that.

Hello Kathi, I’m sorry for your Amazon experience. Several people I know have had great success on ebay. If that’s not an option, have your local bookstore (hopefully there still is one!) request from their supplier.

Hello Betty! I routinely make hummus from canned chickpeas and you will love this recipe. Drain and rinse the chickpeas and transfer to a food processor. Add the juice of 1 large lemon (1/4 cup juice), a peeled garlic clove, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons chicken or vegetable stock (or water), 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and 1/4 cup tahini or creamy peanut butter. Puree it until smooth and serve with a sprinkling of paprika. It is delicious!
